Hilary Jager

Hilary Ley Jager is an attorney, advocate and proud Brooklynite. She was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, specializing in cybercrime, where her work was recognized by numerous awards including the national Director’s Award for Superior Performance.  Hilary was a co-founder of A Better Way (“ABW”), a grassroots, non-profit organization that promotes sustainable transportation and transformative, environmentally-conscious infrastructure in New York City. She is the Vice Chair of Brooklyn Org and on the Board of Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. 

Hilary’s first job in Brooklyn was as a law clerk to the Honorable John Gleeson, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York after attending Stanford Law School. She received her B.A. from Williams College prior to working at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.
